The Little Red Helicopter

During my childhood, this was not a dragonfly; it was a helicopter! We watched it hover, turn sharply and land with the precision of a tiny pilot. 😄🚁

Dragonflies belong to the order Odonata. They are remarkably agile aerial hunters that catch mosquitoes and other small flying insects.

But memory is rarely interested in scientific names. Even today, somewhere inside me, this beautiful red dragonfly is still a helicopter.
